They say like its a bad thing that Christianity is less known...

Christianity sucks. God doesn't even exist.

you really think this is the worse? damn man think about it! humanity itself could resume it no?

Oh, that's great. So many interesting facts that we already knew.

Now cough up the list of 50 things that everybody can actually do about it, or stop whining.

PS: Oh, and how is it a bad thing that only 39% of British teenagers are interested in Christianity? Have a little religious tolerance here, my dear.

The vast majority of these facts are crap.

glad I could help :)

I think 43&47 are actually a good thing - christianity is way overrated..

While more than a few of these seem 'iffy' the one I most doubt has to be the one about McDonalds being more well known than the Christian cross. Thats just religious propaganda. And that is also the one I care least about.

Boo fucking hoo. I hope you kill yourself.

Yeah, That wasn't biased... /sarcasm

Live and let live.

29 and 47 were made up

Jesus died for everyone, even those that don't believe.

looking at these facts and these comments makes me wanna gag

Christians today do more for the world, volunteer more, and are more willing to help their fellow man, so unless your Ghandi than you pissed off atheists better hold your tongue.

50 out of 23 people are bad at fractions.

#6: So? You do the crime, you do the time. Sometimes "the time" is the death penalty. Sucks to be you. Maybe you shouldn't have done the crime in the first place.

#22: And many Americans wish the UN would get the hint and get the hell out of here.

#33: Doubtful, since oil has been proven just this year to be a "renewable resource". More than one research group has announced that they have isolated the bacteria responsible for turning biological waste into crude oil.

#41: And since 1973, when Roe v. Wade was ruled, there have been over 45 million acts of violence inside those same US abortion clinics.

#45: So? We end up being the policemen of the world; why shouldn't we have the best-equipped military?

Live and let die is more like it.

I like how the UK is bashing the US as much as they can. The amount of pornography purchased has more to do with consumers and is no way related to government spending.

Anonymous said...

Please no more religion-bashing. If you're comfortable with your beliefs you don't have to put down those of others.

James on 4:08 PM said...

Im with you on the christianity and it sucking a bunch... but i think id rather people recognize that (at least it does have some sort of underlying positivity) than have people recognize fucking mcdonalds or oil companies who do nothing but rip us off and kill us slowly...

Marisa said...

Christianity isnt even real or probable, so I'm not surprised.

Anonymous said...

should every child be taught about the significance of the cross? What about the other major religions in the world...or better yet lets just not force any religious symbols on children.

Anonymous said...

most of these seem exaggerated...

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I'm so happy that this post isn't biased! I think that it says a lot of really important stuff, but ruins it with Christian propaganda. The only way Christianity will change the world is for the worse! Look what happened when Christianity ruled in Europe! We got the Dark Ages. What does that say?

Anonymous said...

The Golden Arch vs the Cross thing makes sense. Most people in the world aren't Christian. Don't get me wrong I think McDonalds is evil but everybody has to eat but not everyone is worrying about a cross.

Anonymous said...

I think more than a couple of these are made up.
There is no way over 70% of the world has never heard a dail tone.
I quit reading after that.
You cannot convince me that the majority of this list is true.
Where's the sources?

"23 TWENTY-SIX million people voted in the 2001 UK General Election. More than 32 million votes were cast in the first series of Pop Idol."

People can only vote once in an election. With Pop Idol and other TV shows, you can vote as many times as you like.

how bout a list of 50 things you could do to change the world, rather than just listing facts and hoping it will get across to the whole world.
and christianity isnt the only religion out there you know. most of the worlds wars and conflicts are INVOLVED with religion, so as i see it religion creates a lot of problems.

I like how you bash America for owing $1b in UN dues -- I mean we only give our land in New York which is one of the most expensive in the world to the UN and we allow you international schmucks to NOT PAY your parking tickets. Without the US the UN wouldn't exist -- which would probably be a good thing considering how the UN has ZERO power whatsoever and accomplishes NOTHING

here is another interesting fact
9 out of 10 Atheists have been raped by a gorilla , therefore they dont believe in God .
